The INIA Documentary Service facilitates access to scientific resources in agriculture and related sciences through the document request and interlibray loan.
Users can consult the bibliographic funds and the titles of subscribed journals through the
online catalog and
Virtual Library of The CSIC’s Library and Archive Network.
The bibliographic funds can be consulted in the Reading Room and photocopied or requested to send copies of documents of up to maximun of 20% of a book or a complete article.
Through the interlibrary loan service, users of a library can access originals, copies of documents or files (pdf, tiff), in the case of documents in electronic format, which are not found in their own library.
INIA internal users
Requests to obtain documents that are not available in INIA library are processed by the service GTBib / SOD Document Obtaining Service management system. Accessed from the intranet

External libraries
Loan of documents from INIA library to other libraries are processed by the GTBib / SOD Document Obtaining Service system if the requesting library also uses GTBib / SOD.
If the requesting library does not use GTBib / SOD, the request will be made through the identification with user and password of the loan system, through the

Documents that can be requested
- Papers
- Book chapters (not exceeding 20% of the publication)
- Loan books
- Reference works (encyclopedias, dictionaries, bibliographic catalogs ...)
Loan books
You can request up to 3 simultaneous loans.
The term of loan of books is of 1 month. The loan period for books from other libraries will be set by the supplying library.
